ANDREW'S SMOKEHOUSE

During lockdown, Andrew made the decision to give up his full-time job and leave the corporate world for good to become a backyard smokehouse entrepreneur!

Andrew’s decision to invest in his passion saw him learning about the curing process, following in the footsteps of the cured pioneers that went before him. Smoking salmon was his initial goal, but having learned more about the detrimental impact of salmon-farming on the environment and natural ecosystems, he made the decision to switch to the more sustainable trout.

Sourced from Hampshire, the fish Andrew works with is pulled straight from the water the day before it arrives in his kitchen, ensuring freshness and much more transparency in the supply chain. The trout Andrew cures is not only sustainably and ethically farmed but he thinks it’s far tastier too - try it for yourself!
